Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective 11 August 2026

This Policy explains when a purchase made on CapFit can be cancelled or refunded, how to request a refund, and how long it takes. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. What you are buying

A premium report is a digital product. It is generated from the information you have already provided and is made available in your account immediately after your payment is verified.

Because access is granted immediately and the product is delivered digitally, a purchase is generally not cancellable once premium access has been granted, except in the circumstances described below.

2. Cancelling before access is granted

You may abandon a purchase at any point before payment is completed, simply by not completing it. Nothing is charged and no access is granted.

If a payment has left your account but premium access has not been granted, that is not a completed purchase. Contact us and we will either grant the access you paid for or refund you in full.

3. When we will refund you

You were charged more than once for the same report, or a duplicate payment was taken in error.

Payment succeeded but premium access was not granted, and you would prefer a refund rather than the access.

The premium report could not be produced or could not be made available to you because of a fault on our side.

You were charged after your premium access for that assessment had already been granted or had already been paid for.

You were charged without your authorisation. Tell us promptly and we will investigate.

4. When we will not normally refund you

You have accessed, downloaded or exported the premium report and simply changed your mind.

You are dissatisfied with what the assessment concludes. The report describes what the information you supplied shows; a conclusion you did not hope for is not a fault in the product.

The information you supplied was inaccurate or incomplete and the output reflects that.

No lender, investor or institution provided finance, or declined to rely on the report. CapFit does not lend, arrange or guarantee finance, and no such outcome is promised.

Premium access has expired at the end of a period that was disclosed to you at the time it was granted.

Access was granted free of charge, for example under a promotional programme, in which case there is nothing to refund.

5. Partial refunds

Where only part of a purchase is affected, we may refund part of the amount paid. Any refund is limited to the amount actually paid for the purchase concerned, less any amount already refunded for it.

6. How to request a refund

Contact us using the details published on our contact page, from the email address registered to your account. Tell us the assessment concerned, the approximate date and amount of the payment, and the reason for your request.

Please raise a request within seven days of the payment where you can. A later request will still be considered, particularly where a duplicate or unauthorised charge is involved, but promptness helps us investigate.

Every refund request is reviewed by an operator, and both the decision and the reason for it are recorded.

7. How a refund is paid

Approved refunds are made in Indian Rupees to the original payment method, through the payment gateway used for the purchase. We cannot refund to a different card, account or instrument.

We aim to approve or decline a request within five working days of receiving the information we need. Once approved, we submit the refund promptly. The time for the money to reach you is determined by the payment gateway and your bank or card issuer, and is typically five to ten working days.

We will tell you when a refund has been submitted. If it has not reached you within the expected period, contact us and we will follow it up.

8. Effect of a refund on your access

Where a refund is made for a premium report, premium access to that assessment may be withdrawn. Your account, your assessment and the information you provided are not deleted, and a refund does not by itself close your account.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. The version published on this page, with its effective date, applies to purchases made while it is in force.

10. Contact and grievances

If you are not satisfied with a refund decision, you may raise a grievance using the details published on our contact page, and it will be reviewed. Nothing in this Policy limits any right you have under applicable Indian consumer law.
